Chapter 2:Icekit

     "Skykit! Here's our chance." Icekit hissed in Skykit's ear. "Yes...Now let's get to the plan." Skykit hissed back. Yeah, let us. Icekit thought to himself. But it's a horrible plan! Why can't we wait until we're apprentices! We're almost apprentices! Icekit hissed angrily. "Icekit? What wrong with you?" Skykit ask curiously. "Nothing. Let's get ready." Icekit mewed annoyed. "....Redfur! Lionpaw! Clawpaw! and that's all. Patrol, let's go!"
     They all tumbled out of the gorse tunnel, yowling in anger." Ok Icekit, follow me out of the brambles. They quickly crawled threw the brambles, out of the camp. Wow! This is the forest? It's so beautiful! Icekit thought with aww. "There they are!" Skykit meowed. "Skyclan, Attack!" Patchstar yowled. "C'mon Icekit! Let's get them!" Icekit ran out into the clearing. As he ran, he slipped on a leaf, started rolling down the clearing. He tripped a couple Snowclan warriors on the way. Then Skykit came and give them a bite. Icekit kept rolling until he slammed into a bush full of berries. "I'm covered in berries!" Icekit sqeauled. He slowly looked up at the battle. Snowclan, they're retreating! Icekit had pride in his eyes. "Icekit! Skykit!" Redfur meowed. "Here comes the thank you.." Skykit whispered.Icekit dashed out over to him. 'Yes Redfur?" Skykit said with narrowed eyes. "You mousebrained fools! You could have been killed!" He growled.
      I knew it!
  "..And Icekit is covered in berries!"
     Icekit looked down at his white fur. It was a purple-red color. "Great.." he muttered to himself. "But. You did help with the battle a bit.You knocked the leader down!" Icekit let pride show in his eyes. For the first time since the battle, Redfur smiled warmly at them. He was staring at Skykit, as if he could read her mind. "Redfur..?" Icekit purred. "Huh..errr...sorry..let's go back to camp."

   "Icekit! You're covered in berries!!" Icekit's mother snapped. "Hey don't be so hard on him, he helped win the battle." Redfur gleamed with pride. "I'd love to talk, but we're running low on prey. I'm going hunting." He mewed as he stalked away.

Later that day, Icekit drifted off to sleep. "Patchstar! we found a kit!"

Warriors a new destiny, chapter one:Skykit

"You can't catch me!" Skykit mewed running from Icekit. "Can too!" Icekit retorted. And with a flop he landed on Skykit. "Oww!" she yowled. Icekit,alarm jumped off of her. "Are-are you ok?" Of course I'm ok you stupid furball. Skykit thought. But I'm not going to tell you that until I pounce on you! Skykit, being the clever cat she was, started sulking. "Skykit..?" Icekit mewed helplessly. Ready...POUNCE! And as quick as a whisker, she jumped on Icekit. "Woah, that was great!" "Redfur, are you sure?" Skykit looked at Patchstar, questionably. He had worry in his eyes. "Icekit, follow me" The tip-toed into brambles, until they were close enough to hear the deputy and leader. "Snowclan, I should have known! They think they're so much better than us, quietly slipping past our patrols." Patchstar hissed in disgust. "Patchstar, I think they're going to raid us." Redfur said cautiously.  Patchstar was known for his bad temper.
     "You really do?"
  "Yes Patchstar,I do."
 "I was mousebrained to not know. They were very hostile at the last gathering." Patchstar mewed in distress.
Snowclan! If I got my paws on them... 
     "Get a patrol setup. I don't want to take any chances." Skykit heard Patchstar say. "Wow! A real battle!" Icekit said with enthusiasm. "Isn't that great? " Icekit mewed. "Skykit?" Yes,wonderful. And we're going to help... Skykit turned to him. "Sure is. And we're going to help." "Wha...we are?" Icekit said confused."Yes." We can help. If there is a battle, we will sneak out of camp, and go to the fight. Icekit purred "Yeah right." "C'mon Icekit! You;re no fun!" Ice kit sighed. "Fine! But I think it's a bad idea. "Come kits! Icekit, Skykit!" Cresentflower, Icekit's mother called.They ran over to her. " What were you doing? You're covered in brambles!" "We were just playing." Icekit mewled. "Well, be more careful next time. Now why don't you get some rest?"
   
Skykit drifted off into sleep.She woke up in an odd place, drenched in moonlight,She smelled odd cats too. They were surrounding her. Are they going to hurt me? "Get away!" She yowled. Then she heard a softer voice. "Quiet everyone. You are scaring the kit." Skykit heard meows of apology, and then she heard the voice again. "Hello young Skykit."  The voice continued. "I am Moonstar. The leader of Skyclan." But..what about Patchstar? Patchstar was my deputy, he was great." She said, admiringly. "Why do I care?" Moonstar smiled. "You have a great destiny, Skykit." "I do?" she replied. "Yes. You and..." her eyes darkened. "Tigerkit." "Who?" Skykit said. "You will soon see. But now, you are not to know. "But wait!-" But it was too late. She woke up. Shaken, she climbed away from the nursery. "Snowclan is attacking! Help!"
